Rapid Trap Quick-Release System 

This quick-release mounting system allows the user to easily mount or dismount the topcase without opening the lid of the box. The Zega Evo topcase snaps onto the included heavy-duty stainless steel rack, engineered specifically for the Pan America The quick-release mechanism uses very little space inside the case and has been proven reliable while traveling the globe. The finger-friendly release lever is secured with included lock.

Latch Security

You will love the finger-friendly latch that provides smooth closure of the lid with a tactile locking action. The latch is die-forged for strength and are secured with the included locks.

Waterproof

The lid has a tough tongue-and-groove aluminum edge with an integrated silicone seal making a completely waterproof closure. The topcase is equipped with a waterproof vent that relieves pressure when changing elevation - like when riding over a mountain pass.

Lid storage

Additional storage on top of the lid is made easy with forged aluminum lashing loops on all four corners of the lid. Storage inside of the lid is supported by the integrated lashing loops inside of the corners taking advantage of space that is underutilized in most panniers and topcases.

Construction

The lid and base are manufactured with a deep drawing manufacturing method- eliminating the welded seams. The body and base are secured by tried-and-true stainless steel rivets sealed with silicone gaskets.

Helping handle

Carrying topcases can be cumbersome. You’ll love the ergonomic handle on top of the top case making it easy to carry off of the bike. The heavy-duty strap with ergonomic rubber grip provides a helping hand hauling the top box to camp.

Dimensions

Both the 25 and 38 Liter sizes measure 12.4 x 15.75 inches (LxW). The 25 liter case is 8 inches tall while the 38 liter case is 12 inches tall. The 38 Liter size case can easily fit one full-size helmet for storage.
