Touratech-USA Condition of Use


Currency

Prices are in US dollars. Prices are subject to change. We generally bill the shipping costs to you as shown in the shopping cart. On occasion a charge must be revised due to special packaging or destination. If the revision is less than the amount shown you will not be notified. If the revised amount is higher than the amount shown in the shopping cart, you will be notified prior to shipping. We reserve the right to refuse orders containing information, pricing, clerical, shipping, credit card or other errors/discrepancies.

Payment

Payment by credit card: VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are accepted in most cases. We reserve the right to ship only to the credit card billing address. Please provide number and date of expiration, and the 3 or 4-digit CCV code. If delivery address is different from the billing address, pre-payment by cashiers check, or bank wire transfer may be required.

Some items are "special order only", where pre-payment by check or money order is required. In this case we will attempt to notify you as soon as possible using the contact information provided (email or phone).

As conditions of this sale you agree to pay shipment costs, and if applicable, all "shipper penalties for incorrect or incomplete address entered". If shipper penalties are charged, complete documentation will be provided upon request. Please be sure to enter a complete and correct delivery address, including unit number. A common error is "suite number missing ". Error corrections usually cost $10.00 for ground service and $10-20 for Air services.

Delivery

We ship by UPS.

Delivery is limited to stock on-hand. If an item is not in stock we will attempt to notify you with the contact information provided (email or phone). Please see our definitions relating to in-stock, and backorders

For UPS shipments, our system emails a UPS tracking number to you on the date your package has entered the UPS system. Please see the UPS GROUND TRANSIT times map.

Our shipping cutoff time is 1:00 PM M-F Pacific Standard time. Orders may take up to 24 hours to be processed, not counting Saturday, Sunday and holidays. For time-sensitive deliveries it is recommended that you contact us for confirmation by email or telephone. Internet order receipt is not considered to be confirmation for a time-sensitive delivery. We always try our best to get orders out ASAP.

Warranty

We (TOURATECH-USA) warrant our own products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. TOURATECH-USA will, at its sole option, repair or replace any components which fail in normal use. Such repairs or replacements will be made at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. The customer is responsible for any transportation costs. The warranty does not cover failures due to abuse, misuse, accident, or extend to items subjected to unauthorized alteration or repairs. Other products we will provide the original guarantee of the manufacturer (or at least 6 Months). Not responsible for consequential damages.

Items in question must be accompanied by the TT-USA sales receipt. TT-USA does not provide warranty support for items purchased elsewhere. You are welcome to read our english installation instructions on the web. English is being added to the German online instructions on a continual basis, please look at all pages of the document.

Damages

Other than as required under consumer protection law, under no circumstance will TOURATECH-USA be liable for any loss or damage, including that caused by reliance on information obtained through the website. It is the responsibility of the user to evaluate the accuracy and completeness of any content provided by TOURATECH-USA. User accepts all responsibility in evaluating his or her ability to install any item.

Resellers

It is strictly forbidden to resell our products outside the country we delivered them to!




Definitions related to in-stock, and backorders

In Stock
  • This item was in stock at 5PM yesterday. This stock level is updated once daily and may not account for items sold since 5PM yesterday.

  • This item is currently out of stock, and has been ordered from the manufacturer. Back-orders will be fulfilled based on the sequence of firm orders placed. Place your order now to secure delivery for the next available item that arrives into our stock.
  • What most customers want, before they place a back-order on an item, is a reliable DATE that the item will be shipped. We apologize that this information is not available from our supplier. Furthermore, since other customers are ordering this part (perhaps while you read this) we have no way to forecast a date when the incoming supply will outpace the backorders. Some items flowing thru are less than 1 week backordered, other items can be 3-4 weeks. Some items, where the demand consistently outpaces manufacturing capacity it will appear to be on "permanent backorder" even though each week, many customers are receiving this item.
  • Waiting for the web-status to show "In Stock" will likely prolong your wait, because other customers who were willing to submit a back-order are confirming their orders ahead of you.
  • For example; Our incoming shipments arrive weekly from Germany. If 12 customers have ordered this part, let's say that TODAY, 10 arrived at our warehouse. Availability will remain labeled as ...more coming even though TOMORROW, TEN will ship out to customers who were on the list. And the last 2 customers will remain on the backorder list, consequently the item remains labeled ...more coming on our website. If you have decided you want the item, place it in your cart and complete your order to put your name on the next incoming item. Orders are not charged until the date shipped. You can tell when an item ships by watching your credit card balance, or if you have provided an email contact, our UPS system sends a tracking number to your email address on the same day the item has shipped.
  • We DON'T charge your card until the day it leaves our warehouse to you.
Not Stocked
  • This item is not normally stocked at our warehouse, but we will be happy to order it for you. Typical delivery time is 2-6 weeks. We will not charge you until we ship your order from our facility. Add this item to your cart normally and we will contact you with the status of your order.
Accepting Pre-Orders
  • This label signifies a New Item, Not in stock yet. It means that we have placed an order with the Manufacturer but the first item has not yet arrived in the USA. Please note: You can order this item - as soon as it arrives we will ship it to you. Orders will be delivered in the sequence that they are placed, so please submit your order to secure your place in line. We do not charge your card UNTIL we actually ship.
Special Order
  • This item is not normally stocked but is available to order. Special orders must be prepaid by check, money order, or bank transfer and are NOT returnable. Typical delivery time for special orders is 2-6 weeks. You must call us to order any Special Order item since it is not possible to add these items to your shopping cart.
  • We can order almost any item from the catalog. For items not shown on the TOURATECH-USA website, please call or email.
