A sturdy luggage rack is extremely helpful on longer day trips. A stainless steel frame is the base for the 4mm Aluminum structure. This cargo rack makes it much quicker and easier to secure a packsack or travel bag to the back of the KTM. And the tank lid on the rear remains accessible. The structure measures 22 x 20 cm. The luggage rack is very strong, but the fueltank structure is suitable for loads up to 5 kg.
Note that the KTM 690 has no structural rear subframe, all weight on the cargo rack is carried by the fueltank. If more capacity is desired, this rack can be fitted WITH our structural pannier rack 051-0170.
This tail rack is for LIGHT DUTY ONLY. Due to the design of the KTM 690 with no metal subframe, this rack should only be used for light loads such as a small tail bag. Any heavy loads or fuel containers such as Rotopax should not be used on this rack and will void the warranty.
