The stock skid plate on the KTM 890 / 790 Adventure and Adventure R has great coverage but is made with thin metal that was never really meant to take a hard hit. Especially when bottoming out on large rocks, or crossing logs, the stock skid plate leaves your KTM 790's motor vulnerable. This reinforcement kit from Touratech adds a secondary layer of 3mm thick stainless steel, rubber dampers, and stronger mounts that protect the bottom side of your engine from damage, without having to purchase another skid plate.
Does not fit 2023 and newer.
