BMW Factory Crash Bar Reinforcement Kit - BMW R1200GS & Adventure (Water Cooled) 2013-on
If you have factory BMW crash bars on your water cooled R1200GS or GS Adventure, you may have noticed the lack of any rearward bracing. Having no rear brace on the crash bar design leaves your water boxer's cylinders vulnerable to serious damage during hard drops. Touratech has seen the need, and designed a fix for this weakness in the factory bars. This set of reinforcement bars braces the rear of the OEM crash bars directly to the frame of the motorcycle, giving you the peace-of-mind you need when riding rough off-road tracks on your BMW.
Made of strong, 25mm thick electropolished stainless steel tubing, these reinforcements are a perfect match for the stock bars and compliment their design nicely. The bars are easy to install, and come complete with all the necessary mounting hardware.
We have different versions of this reinforcement kit available for all the years of R1200GS and GSA. Please select your bike model and year before adding this item to your cart. If you have the 045-5165 GSA Upper Crash Bar Extensions installed on your Adventure, select that option from the menu.
