This steering stop guard from Touratech adds a critical layer of protection to your R1200GS' frame, steering, and suspension components. By reinforcing the front suspension arm, and adding an extra cushioned steering stop, this protector will help keep your stock steering stops and suspension from getting damaged in a crash or "tank-slapper." Under severe conditions, the stock steering stops can get broken off the frame, causing very costly damage, or even worse, totaling the motorcycle.
This guard is cheap insurance against very severe damage to your BMW's frame.
NOTE: If you have the R1200GS Rallye Edition or R1250GS with the 'Sport" (Tall) suspension package, you will need to order the steering stop guard for the GS Adventure Model.
